さてさて、ついに阿蘇山に登りました！
今回は、地図にない道を歩きました。登山道の脇にある沢沿いを登ります。ちょっとした冒険気分です。
Hello, I tried Mt.Aso trekking! At first I went up along the small river, not trail.
It's like a petit adventure!
振り返ると、朝日の中に阿蘇の街が見えました。
When I looked back, there is a town of Aso in the sunlight.
今は運休中のロープウェイです。
It's a old ropeway...
山頂駅は、廃屋でした。
The ex-ropeway station was ruined.
見えてきました、阿蘇五岳のうちで唯一今も活動している、中岳の火口です。
白いものが火山ガスです。主成分は、1952年にロンドンスモッグを引き起こしたり、日本でも公害病の原因となった二酸化硫黄です。
It's the crater of Mt.Nakadake, it is an only active volcano in Aso five mountains. The volcanic gas, the main component is sulfur dioxide, it caused "London smog disaster" in 1952, and pollution disease in Japan.
まずは、火口と逆方向にある中岳山頂、高岳を目指します。
I went the peak of Mt.Nakadake and Mt.Takadake.
ハンノキの仲間？ハンノキは先駆植物と呼ばれ、栄養分の少ない土地に真っ先に生え、他の植物の栄養分を作る役目を果たします。
いつかはこの、荒涼とした山並みが緑で覆われるのでしょうか。
Is it a kinds of Japanese alder? They're called "pioneer plants", live the land less nutrients, make nutrients for the other plants.
Someday, here, such a gaunt moor, would be covered with green.
大地はまだ緑なのに、山は白・・・空の青が映えます。
The Land is still green, but the mountain-top is white, and the blue of sky looks attractive.
I arrived at the top of Mt.Takadake(1592m), the highest mountain in Aso five mountains.
このあとは、ものすごく火山ガスに苦しめられました。咳は出るし息は苦しいし・・・一人で登っていたら確実に引き返すところでした。というわけで、あまり写真を撮っていません。
After that I really sufferd from volcanic gas. I had a cough, difficult to breathing!
If I walking alone, I would go back. So I didn't take many photos.
砂千里浜。Suna-senrigahama.
やれやれ、なんとか無事に帰って来れました！これも一緒に登った二人のおかげです。
たどり着いた草千里浜は、暖かい陽光に包まれていました。
Well, I came back, didn't gave up! Because of the other members, they cheered me up!
We arrived at Kusa-senrigahama, there was filled with warm sunlight.
