と、山の師匠から教えられたのをすーっかり忘れていました。
さて、今回は九重の登山口のうち、最も標高が高いところにある牧の戸峠からスタートしました。阿蘇駅からだと、残念ながら一番早いバスでも到着は１２時頃になってしまいます。すでに標高1330m。時間もすでに12:30です。

I climbed from highest entrance, Makinoto Pass. From Aso station, the bus arrives at 12:00 even the fastest one in a day.
I started trekking at 12:30. Already I was at a height of 1330m.
最初の最初から、登山道が凍りついていました。サッカーでいうならば、開始１分で先制ゴールを決められたようなショックです。
From the very beginning, the trail had frozen! I got shock, as a football game, like a goal of opponent in the first 1 minutes.
見れば見るほど、冬です。コケも雪をまとっていました。
日射しが心の底から嬉しいです。もっと、光を！
The more I looked the view, the more it looks like winter! The moss was covered with snow.
I really welcomed sunlight! Mehr Licht!
歩くこと２時間弱、久住山が見えてきました。
Less than 2 hours walking, I saw Mt.Kujusan.
星生崎？この手前にある星生山にも登るつもりでしたが、曲がるところをを見落としていました。
この時点で午後３時、今日はどこかの山頂を目指すのはあきらめ、とにかく山小屋に入ることにしました。
Is it Hossho-zaki(the second highest peak of Mt.Hosshosan) ? I would go to Mt. Hosshosan, but I had passed by the entrance.
It was already 3 o'clock, so I gave up to go up any mountain top.
火山ガスが流れ込む北千里浜。一人で歩くと、さながら地の果てを行くようです。
Kita-Senrigahama, volcanic gas flow into the valley. It looks like a land's end!
さて、そんな地の果てで、登山道を教えてくれる黄色いペンキ。これでもか！というくらい印がつけられています。勝手に、ミモザと命名しました。
The yellow painting shows the correct trail, so many one! I named them "mimosa"!

地の果て・北千里浜から岩場をもう一度下ると、今日の宿・法華院温泉山荘にたどり着きます。縦走の最中に温泉に浸かれるというこの幸せ。
Go down the craggy place, I arrived at Hokkein-Sanso(Mountain Hut). It was a temple 150 years ago.
I was sooooo happy I could take a hot spring during a traverse!
