Mehr Licht! The last day of traverse

「もっと光を(Mehr Licht)！」詩人ゲーテの最期のことばと言われています。

３日間の縦走のうち、最初の二日は曇りや雨で、写真を撮るには光が足りないので、何度こう叫んだかわかりません。最終日になって、やっと青空を見ることができました。

３日目は、４人で歩きはじめました。

"Meht Licht!" A German poet, J.W.Goethe said at last of his life.

In the first 2 days , it was cloudy or rainy so we need more brightness to take photos. It was sunny in the last day of the traverse!we started trekking with 4 members. 

 縄文杉。樹齢３０００年と言われています。
Jomon-sugi ceder. It has lived in 3000 years.

でも、私たちはこの名もなきスギのほうに惹かれていました。

And we liked that cedar, it have no name.

 これがウィルソン株です。伐採されていなければ、屋久島で最大のスギだそう。
It's Willson-stump. It is the oldest ceder tree if it wasn't cut down.

 翁杉。数年前に倒れてしまいました。
Okina-sugi ceder. (Okina means old man in old Japanese) It fell down few years ago.

 たくさんのスギを見たあとは、昔のトロッコ道を歩きます。
after we saw many ceder trees, walked the old railroad. It was used to carry ceder woods.

 屋久島では紅葉は美しくないと聞いていましたが、どうしてどうして。こんなに鮮やかです。
People say it isn't beautiful the leaves turning red or yellow in Yakushima, but I saw such a beautiful leaves!

 白谷雲水峡近くの、太鼓岩から眺めた景色。遠く太忠岳などの山も見えます。
From Taiko-rock, near Shiratani-Unsuikyo. we can see Mt.Tachu or so.

残念ながら、ここでカメラのバッテリーが切れてしまいました。
Well, the battery was dead...!

ところで、私は昨日の朝、屋久島を離れました。
静かに、船は光の射すほうへと・・・この光が、次の場所への希望となることを願い、私はまた旅に出ます。
By the way I left Yakushima yesterday morning.
The ferry goes into the sunshine...I hope my trip goes to be all right!
